Driveways are what we do most — concrete, asphalt, pavers, gravel, and brick. We also pour concrete patios, slabs, and pads. Whatever the surface, the job starts the same way: proper grading, a compacted base, and drainage that sends water where it belongs. That's the part you never see, and it's the part that decides how long the finished work lasts.
Driveway Installation
Every driveway material has its trade-offs — cost, look, lifespan, and upkeep. Here's the honest rundown on each one we install, so you can pick the right fit for your property and budget.
Concrete Driveways
The workhorse. A properly poured concrete driveway — compacted base, correct thickness, control joints cut in the right places — lasts for decades with almost no maintenance. It handles heavy vehicles, takes a broom finish for grip, and can be colored to complement the house instead of defaulting to plain gray.
Stamped Concrete Driveways
Same concrete underneath, different face. Color is added to the mix, and before it sets we stamp it with molds that imprint the look of stone, brick, cobblestone, or wood plank. You get the curb appeal of those materials at a lower cost than laying them for real — and it's sealed to protect the color and finish.
Paving Stone Driveways
Individual pavers laid over a compacted base. The big advantage is repairability — if a section settles or stains, we lift those pavers and relay them, no saw-cutting, no patch that doesn't match. Lots of shapes, colors, and patterns to work with. It costs more up front than concrete, and the result is a driveway with real character.
Asphalt Driveways
Strong, smooth, and the most affordable paved option. Asphalt goes down hot and gets compacted with rollers, and it stays slightly flexible, so it tolerates ground movement better than rigid surfaces. It does want upkeep — sealcoating every few years — but maintained asphalt gives you 20 to 30 years of service.
Gravel Driveways
The budget-friendly option, and some homeowners genuinely prefer the natural look. Gravel drains well, installs fast, and costs a fraction of paving. The trade-off is maintenance — it needs occasional regrading and topping up as the stone migrates. Right for long rural drives and anyone who wants function over polish.
Brick Driveways
The classic. Clay brick paving has been handling driveways for a century for a reason — it's tough, it keeps its color, and it gives the front of a home a look nothing else quite matches. Like pavers, individual bricks can be lifted and reset if anything ever settles. It's a premium material at a premium price, and it shows.
Concrete Patios, Slabs & Pads
The same crew and prep work that go into our driveways go into backyard concrete: patios, patio extensions, side-yard slabs, walkways, and pads for sheds, equipment, and hot tubs.
